Interior design is very functional but errs on the side of simplicity
Advice to buyer:
Look for discounts because this car is not going to stay in production for much longer
Detailed review:
I've had my 2006 92X linear for less than two months and I've already put over 5k miles on it. So far I have been very pleased with every mile. I can honestly say I look forward to driving this car.
It has all the good qualities of the Subaru Impreza and none of the bad. It handles better, is MUCH quieter, looks quite a bit better (in my opinion), and has a better waranty.
It inherited Subarus AWD which handles better than anything else on snowy/icy roads (I live in Utah), get's great gas milleage for an AWD vehicle, has decent power for a 4 cylinder engine, and after driving for 9+ hours I hop out of this car without feeling even slightly sore of cramped (I'm 6' 2').
I also test drove an Imprezza, Audi A3, Mini Cooper, new Beetle, and Honda Civic. The choice was easy. The 92X was the perfect balance of everything I was looking for. The A3 was better in some ways but much more expensive and head/leg space wasn't as comfortable.

2006 Audi A3
2006 MINI Cooper
2006 Subaru Impreza
