On a scale of 1-10, I give the 2007 maxima a 4 for the smartkey lock on the driver door which can be easily compromised,If the lock is tampered with it automatically shorts a circuit which in turn disables the factory alarm and lowers both front windows thereby granting an intruder access to the car. It's costing me almost $2000 to fix that through my insurance with a $500 deductible, whats to stop another break-in from happening again.I spoke to nissan bout it and they seem not to be of much help.So for all you prospective nissan buyers be careful of the sleek looking maxima but not so secure smartkey system
