The pain on the Audi TT is EXTREMELY prone to scratches and chips!!! (this is a real problem)
Advice to buyer:
Get the 3.2 L V6 (I'll trade for the 3.2L in a year or two)
Detailed review:
I purchased my 180HP FWD Audi TT coupe in June of 2003. I never get tired or looking at the car and admiring its lines and style. The interior is awsome! First grade quality. The ride could be smoother and pick up (before the turbo kicks in) is definitely poor. Dealership service is the worst I've ever experience (they're nice and polite, but the quality of their work stinks). The car has had some unexpected little problems such as a defective sensor for the Tiptronic transmission that would make it not respond when switching from auto to Tiptronic, the glove compartment locked up and the handle broke for which the whole glove compartment was replaced, and one of the indicator lights on the front sides of the car came lose and had to be replaced.
