Detailed review:	I purchased a 2000 TT in July of 1999. During the first 15 months the vehicle was in the shop for a total of 10 weeks for non-routine maintenance items. Both side window motors have been replaced, the windshield developed a stres crack and had to be replaced, there has been a rpeated electical problem of unkown origin resulting in the driver information center being replaced twice, the sound system replaced, and the dash gauges replaced. In addition, the transmisson mount had to be replaced. Twice the vehicle had to be towed due to the 'electircal problem'. Bottom line it has lust it's cache.
