quick acceleration onto the freeway, awesome sound system, audio controls on steering wheel
Least favorite feature:
stiff ride, poor rear visibility
Advice to buyer:
drive it on a winding road and take it onto the highway
Detailed review:
I've driven my TSX for 8 months now, and it still puts a smile on my face whenever I step on the gas. Fabulous sound system, quick acceleration, and responsive handling are my favorite features. As others have noted, it's true that other drivers will pull up beside you and stare! I think I've seen only 8 or 10 other TSX's on the road... I'm so glad I'm not driving an Accord or Camry; it's nice to be a little different. Plus, I think the quality and features compare favorably with BMW 3-series, Infiniti, and Lexus, especially for under $30,000. I was a satisfied Toyota owner for 13 years, but when I went shopping for a new car, nothing in Toyota's lineup could match the performance, size, and styling of the TSX. The only negatives are that the ride is stiff/bumpy if you're on a less than perfect road; my old Corolla seemed smoother. You really feel the road in this car. The rear view is limited; backing up is tough, and sometimes it's easy to miss seeing low/small cars behind you on the road. And then, there's paying $2.30/gallon for premium gas in San Diego...
