The new front facelift and the 'decontenting' of standard features
Advice to buyer:
More items are made optional (that were previously standard) every year - so check carefully
Detailed review:
A delight to drive. Very comfortable and agile to manuver. Not crazy about the front end face lift for the 2004 model year, but can live live with it. This is my 4th Sebring Convert. since '98 and each year Chrysler decontents this vehicle a little more. This year the power window and door lock switches are no longer illuminated. Other items removed over the years - door panel courtesy lights, light over the cup holders, heated side view mirrors, and glove box light. That's right - a $30,000+ vehicle and it doesn't have a glove box light. Not even available as part of and optional 'light package'. Instead I get 2 power outlets (ie. cigarette lighter outlets-without the lighters) - What do I need 2 for? At least put back the glove box light instead. Additionally more items are made optional every year (that were previously standard) - so check carefully.
