Height and interior comfort/design; innumerable storage containers
Least favorite feature:
Limited interior color/cloth choice
Advice to buyer:
Purchase the V6; 2WD
Detailed review:
The Highlander rides and drives like a car but handles like an SUV,the perfect fusion for a non-offroader like me who needs plenty of space and a functional utility vehicle. I was sold after my first test drive.
The exterior design grows on you, and everything else is first-class.
The only drawback is the limited choice of interior colors; the exterior color I really wanted was available only in an awful yellow cloth and similar hued leather, that Toyota claims to be ivory. Very frustrating. I went with a charcoal/gray interior which is still too light for true SUV purposes.
