Of the 20 to 30 vehicles I've owned over the years, the Murano is overall the best for my needs which include several long (multi-day) trips a year.
My only quibble - and an annoying one - relates to terrible rear visability. This is something that styling has dictated, of course. Changing the shape of the 'triangular', rear, side windows so that they become larger can be done in a way that harmoniously blends with other body work, and will largely solve the problem, making the vehicle safer.
The vehicle performs and hanndles very well, is really roomy and comfortable for four, and has more hauling capacity than one would think because of the wide space between wheel wells.
