The fact that there are NO foglights/mudguards like I thought I was getting with the 'Appearance Pkg'
Advice to buyer:
Test drive one and you'll see what I'm talking about!
Detailed review:
On May 22, 2004, I took delivery of an AVEO LS Sedan with every option except the engine heater. This car was replacing a 1994 Toyota Corolla ONLY because I had to use my GM MasterCard points that I was starting to lose. The Toyota was great. The AVEO is more than I ever expected. It's very comfortable, very quiet and quite zippy. I think that the big car mags that review these cars don't realize that some people just buy these cars for 'around town' and NOT highway cruisers. I think they forget this when they review them. I would recommend this car to anyone without any hesitation.
I think that the AVEO that Consumer Reports tested in their August 2004 issue was DEFECTIVE! I have experienced NONE of what they report. Only time will tell how well this car will stand up. So far, so good!
