The value! Versus other cars in it's class, you can save...or add some features and still pay less.
Least favorite feature:
You have to lock the front doors with the key.
Advice to buyer:
Definitely go with the LS. It's not that much more in price, but you get the immobilizer and power locks.
Detailed review:
Having driven an import for the past seven years, I found the handling of this vehicle much the same. A lot of the other test drives I had, the brakes (and sometimes gas too) were so touchy that it made for a very jerky ride.
The Aveo is definitely a nice handling, QUIET car. When test driving, try to go to a dealership where there is a highway nearby so you can do some real driving. Note, the sedan is quieter than the hatchback (according to the salesman, I did not actually test it).
The most exiting part about this car had to have been the moment they told me my monthly payments. I was able to get a 48 month lease with lower monthly payments than a 60 month lease anywhere else I looked.
If you're looking for a low-priced, GOOD vehicle, I definitely suggest test-driving and Aveo. Keep in mind, there are *hidden fees* you can get around. Shop smart! Other dealerships won't budge on their prices. Don't be afraid to dicker with the salesman.
