Small, controls for the HVAC and radio. Lack of lighted controls on the steering wheel.
Advice to buyer:
Take it for a long (preferably overnight) test drive and put it through it's paces. You'll be impressed.
Detailed review:
I've owned my Max for 5 months now, and I have yet to find fault with the car. After driving Dodge Intepids for the last 10 years, this car is the picture of refinement. Compared to the Dodge's 3.5L V-6, the Maxima's engine is in a class by itself. Smooth, responsive, and powerful.
The interior is beautiful and logically laid out. Although I gave up a bit of interior room and trunk space moving from the Intrepid, the car does not feel smaller. Plenty of backseat leg room, and I can get 4 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. I'm very impressed with the car to this point.
