Detailed review:
Handling and performance are what you would expect from a Toyota in this class- solid and reliable. Nothing to 'wow' you, just good quality. The auto-trans is very smooth, as are the brakes.
The seating position does take a little getting used to, but the interior is very quiet with a quality feel to it. Enormous trunk for a vehicle of its size. This car does have a tendency to get blown around on windy days; I'm hoping that better tires cure some of that.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my Corolla S, and am looking forward to the day when the bank no longer owns it. No matter what, you can't get this quality for the money from an American car.
