Pros:
Interior materials, layout, and seat comfort.
|
"The Acura brand has a great reputation, and Acura vehicles are known for providing owners with styling, amenities, and interior richness which all come together to provide a crisp, modern luxury experience. After comparing a number of cars in the $35K price zone, the TL felt like the best value AND the best fit for me. I chose the Tech Package mainly for the navigation, ELS audio, and backup camera, and it was worth the $$ upgrade. Overall features and performance are quite satisfying. Bonus: It doesn't get lost in the crowd like comparable BMW or Benz products. "

Pros:

|
Cons:
none

"Outstanding car. Listed for $42,900, paid $37,000. The SH AWD sold me on the car. The ride, handling and S drive with paddle shifters makes this a four door performance car. "

Pros:
Hard drive Sound System
|
|
Cons:
Transmission
|
"Price range is about $42K. In this range, one expects some luxury, connected drivability, and comfort. On drivability, the SH-AWD is remarkable in keeping the car headed in the right direction whatever the driver does. I would not buy this car without the SH-AWD, it's that good. My only complaint is that the 5-speed auto is not quite up to the task; I believe a 6-speed is needed. I average about 24mpg, which is acceptable for a 6cyl auto with 305hp. The interior is 'nice', but suffers from the normal cost-cutting measures; i.e. dashboard that are black regardless of the interior color chosen. The sound system is second to none (get Technology Package). I will never again buy any car without a hard drive sound system. The Nav system is very good. Would like a better lower back cushioning. Overall, a lot of capability in this price range. You can spend a lot more than this and still not get the features and capability of the Acura TL SH-AWD."

Cons:

"Aggressive styling, not like everything else.
Great mix of Luxury/Performance.
Love the Tech pkg.
Heated seats are nice, but should be cooled as well. Love the 'DC-10 Cockpit' as my friend called it, @ night with all the lit up buttons( and yes I like ALL of the buttons).

Pros:
Quiet at cruising speeds
|
|
Cons:
Lack of fit and finish for price of car
|
"Despite paying substantially less than MSRP, I'm a little disappointed with the car considering its price tag. Some interior bits can have a little rattle to them when going over moderate bumps. Trunk liner is already sagging away from its weather stripping, and even the key has a screw in it that turns itself loose after 1000 miles and can vibrate when in the ignition. Considering list of standard features, I would expect push-button start to be standard on all models without having to pay $3800 more for the tech-package.
Acura could also benefit from offering ala-cart options; such as NAV independent of the expensive tech-package.
18' wheels should also come standard as large arches on the 'uniquely' styled exterior swallow the base models 17'. "

"After driving MB,BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Cadillac, and Audi, I drove the Acura last. After about 5 minutes driving I knew I found my new car. Overall it was the best value among all the others. I have had Acura's in the past but this one is great. Good job Acura on a outstanding product once again. BTW, photo's do not do this car justice it is much different when you actually see it."

Pros:
Power and Handling

|
Cons:
Premium fuel reqirement.

"Our 3 kids currently each have BMW 3 convt.,G35 Sedan, and Audi A4. So we were up to date on them. Drove Lexus ES350, but too softly sprung, but very quiet. Last, drove the M35X, and liked it, except for subpar audio. The TL with Tech PKG give excellent bolstered seats, very good handling on corners and mountain roads, and some say best rated ELS audio system. In short, we think Acura TL has the best combination for us. And yes, others come to us and like the styling."
