Cons: NOTHING! "I love my Sorento! I researched 10+ SUV's and this one is hands down the best value out there in terms of overall quality and eye catching design. Gotta love the 10 Year Warranty. I live in Arizona and all my driving is long distance and on the interstate, mostly with the cruise at 80 mph. The four is more then adequate. "Just purchased V6, LX model - very nice. Wife has been a van follower, this Kia turned her around and she loves it. Nice drive (strongly suggest V6 over 4 cylinder), comfortable and looks great too! Was a tie with the GMC Terrain, until incentives, warranty, and V6 test drive - GMC also had limited visibility out the back versus the Sorento. Cons: No power rear door "Third row for grand children they love it. We like milage. Infinity sound w/sub pounds out bass. 2.5K cross country trip WI to MT, we had 30 mph winds that brought mpg down to 20.9 @ 80 mph. That litil 4 banger slid between 5th and 6th with ease. Auto dual climate control and navagation will save my marrige. Very good looking vehicle. Disappointed in the ride which is rough. The middle seats are good for short people and the third row seats might work for anyone under 4 foot tall. Front seats are very comfortable unless you have two adults in the back seat which means you have to move the front seats forward for the second row to have any legroom at all. This makes the front seats uncomfortable and I am only 5'10'. Roof rack is decorative only since crossbars are not available. Seat Leather seems to be good quality. I wish I would have hung on to our 2004 Mountaineer V8 AWD which was much more roomy and versatile. Cons: No dip stick on transmission- I like to check fluids... " We have been with KIA for a few years, and this is the forth car. (Sedona, Sportage, Rondo, now 2011 Sorento). Very pleased with the ride and big car feel, handling and MPG. But, as always, the warranty rules, especially if you have a great dealer with a great service department. The safety rating is a plus, which we hope never to test!!! Overall quality is great, and I'm pleased that it was built in the US with a majority of US made parts. Cons: MPG "I presently own a 06 RAV4 Limited w/ V6, 3rd row seat. I just purchased a 2011 Sorento EX V6 AWD.For just $2K more than I paid for the RAV four years ago,I have leather int, NAV w/ backup camera, Bluetooth, chrome 18”wheels, 6 spd auto,better speed display, rear door goes up not sideways, little more room inside. But, a LOT more performance from RAV,better handling, easier to drive around due to smaller size. Also better mpg. The EX so far w/900 miles, 16.5, 17.5 (18.5 mostly hwy going 70-80 mph.) The ride is softer in the EX not as truck like in the RAV. 3rd row seats easier to get into and little more space.
