Pros:
Handling
|
|
Cons:
The radio
|
"This car is a winner for me. It goes ike stink, handles well, has tremedoius brakes, with virtually no suspension pitch when braking hard or taking evasive action. The stearing is a little low geared, but there's plenty of feel for the road. I average about 22.5 mpg, good for a car the hits 60 mph in just over 6 secs. If that bothered me, I'd have gone for the 4 cylinder. The manual overide gearbox is a must for me, especially when negotoiating bends and snow. It works well, but is a little slow to react. The blind-spot warning system when pulling out to overake is brilliant. Minuses: The radio is appalling, there is no middle range. There are no fresh air vents for rear passengers, and it's claustophobic inside due to the shape. I gave quality 4/5 becasue in the 13 months and 11,000 miles I have it, the automatic windows don't work correctly when the temperature is hot, and the front bumper has become detached from the body, only about 1/8th of an inch, but that's not good enough. Otherwise, it's plusses all the way. I would buy another, it's heaps better to drive than the Camry, Accord and Altima, Don't waste your cash on a fancy German overpriced/overrated car, try this first, and give the difference in money to your local animal charity!"

Pros:
Handling
|
|
Cons:
Only a 3 year 36,000 standard warranty. like many other makes

"Picked up my 2010 Touring Plus V6 on Aug 21, 2009. It was one of the first 2010 models. Have now completed 7200 miles and am very pleased with it.
Minuses:
Claustrophobic due to styling
Cup holders need springs a la Hyundai, to stop small bottles rattling around
It's a job to see the speedo when the seat and wheel is set up for me.
Prefer 10 mile increments on the speedo
Radio is simply awful. There's little or no mid-range, just base and treble.
For this price, door mirrors should heat and fold.
Michelin Energy tires' grip iis poor
Head rest should have lateral adjustment or at least tilt. They’re great for me, but I can understand people's comments they are too close to your head. They should also be adaptive in these safety times, meaning they spring up and forward in the event of a crash.
Not the most refined V6 engine you'll ever drive. Wind noise around door mirror
Plusses; there are so many....
Tremendous road-holding, handling, braking. The brake pedal has great feel to it. Suspension does not dip when you brake hard. Torque-steer is non existent.
Lovely steering with great feel too.
35 ft turning circle, so useful...
Good low end torque.
Manual override, although wish it had steering wheel paddle change like so many have today.
Space, comfort.
Quality looking interior, nice cloth on the doors and soft feeling plastic.
Bluetooth, although it doesn't like my London accent even though I’ve voice trained it!
Fair fuel consumption, considering it's a 3.7 272 bhp car. 21.5 around town, 25 on a run using mostly cruise.
Overall quality is good, no squeaks or rattles.
Blind spot warning is brilliant.
Back seat splits and folds (Camry SE/Honda please copy)
Runs on regular fuel
Stability control standard
215 55 17” tires. Much more sensible than the previous model’s 45 18” tires. Mine gives a much better ride with potholes etc.
Overall a great car. I hope its residuals improve, but I intend to keep this for around 10 years anyway. I took the extended warranty; 6 yrs or 100000 miles for $1525.
This is for people who enjoy their driving. Drive this car, and you won't be disappointed.

Make sure you know where the blindspots are. Otherwise, it's a great ride.

Pros:
Beautiful looks and tight handling, quiet ride.
|
|
Cons:
My biggest complaint would be the blind spots. After awhile you know where to look but it does take an extra toss of the head just to be safe when backing or crossing lanes.
|
" I`m in my 50's and find this car goes as fast as I want it when I need it. The engine is very quiet, there are times I can't tell it's running. I just drove it in some slushy snow and never felt it was pulling me in directions I really didn't want to go. It handled wonderful! It's a hot looking car, safety rating is high and the price was very reasonable. I love my Mazda6"
