It was a lovely sunny January day in Detroit (no, really, it was) as the second day of the 2006 Detroit Auto Show opened with more North American and World debuts. From Acura to Volvo, manufacturers continued to roll out new concepts and models. For instance, Acura announced that for model year 2007, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque will power the new RDX crossover. The 2.3-liter engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission that can be shifted via steering wheel-mounted paddles.
