You remember the type: an underachieving dorkus winds up winning over the masses/defeating the evil jocks/saving the world thanks to brains instead of brawn. He usually wound up with the babe at the end, too. Think “Weird Science,” “Real Genius,” or the granddaddy of them all, “Revenge of the Nerds.”
