Lexus has completely remade the ES300 sedan. The new ES is both larger and more luxurious than the car it replaces. Using its own flagship—the LS430—as a template from which to draw inspiration, Lexus engineers have armed the new ES with a level of sophistication and luxury unheard of in its class. From its rich leather fabrics to its complex AVS (adaptive variable suspension), the ES is, in every way, a better car.

The cabin of the new ES promises to pamper its occupants. Standard features include dual-zone climate control with air-filtration system, 7-speaker AM/FM stereo with cassette and CD player, trip computer, electrochromic auto-dimming inside and outside rearview mirrors, one touch up/down control on all four windows, genuine California walnut trim and the Homelink system. For those that desire an even higher level of luxury, Lexus will offer a power sunroof, the Lexus Navigation System and the same Mark Levinson stereo available in the LS430.

Improvements continue beneath the sleek new sheet metal. The 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 210 horsepower and is teamed to an all-new five-speed electronic transmission. This new driveline helps boost fuel efficiency and reduces emissions, earning the new ES a ULEV (ultra-low emissions vehicle) rating from the EPA.
