Toyota's minivan gets its highest marks for quality, reliability and resale value; it is a Toyota, after all. Interior space is generous front to back, yet side-to-side accommodations are a bit tight when sitting three across. Seating is available for up to seven passengers, but those that sit in the 50/50 split-bench rear seat will have to squeeze to get back there. The third-row seat can slide forward to create more cargo space or be removed completely.

A powerful V6 moves the Sienna with ease, but is harsher than one would expect from Toyota. Handling can almost be described as car-like, although with a full crew onboard, the ride over rough roads does get a bit choppy. The dash has been redesigned this year, moving the radio and ventilation controls up from the floor and placing them within the driver's line of sight. Seating is firm, comfortable and supportive, while a host of electronic goodies—including a ceiling mounted entertainment center—help keep the rear passengers from getting bored.

Three trim levels are available for the Sienna: CE, LE and XLE. All have the same basic engine and suspension, but vary in the levels of comfort and convenience features offered. And although the Sienna promises to hold its value over the years, it does not come cheap. The base CE model is priced just a hair over $24,000-a bit steep when compared to other base models in the segment.
