We take the all-wheel-drive Lincoln to Subaru country.
No, the Lincoln MKT does not walk on water.
After a week and more than 1,000 miles, some definite impressions had been made by the 2010 Lincoln MKT. Initial thoughts about its ugly, garish style had been replaced by more favorable views, or at least broader acceptance. I, for one, see the MKT’s styling as one of its selling points. The as-tested $57,000 sticker price was hard to swallow, but we all appreciated this wagon’s comfort, features and quality materials. On the flip side, we were disappointed to find the third row too tight on leg and head room for even short adults, and as the driver, I was irked by the high rear window that affected visibility. Other demerits go out to the sunroof that doesn’t offer a one-touch closing function and third-row seats that require a bit of a reach and are somewhat awkward to manipulate.
