What it is: Honda’s first
sporty hybrid, inspired by the CR-X of the 1980s and ’90s.
What we like about it: This
two-seat hatchback coupe will differ from other hybrids. Though it will
make only 128 horsepower, its small size, light weight and manual
transmission option should make it fun to drive and of course, fuel
efficient.
Bottom line: The CR-X
appealed to a generation of hatchback buyers and the CR-Z can do the
same. The CR-Z could make hybrids cool for more than just the green
crowd.
