The Volvo C30 is one of those under-the-radar cars, one that offers up solid Swedish safety values but with an added dose of fun. For 2011, Volvo has redesigned the nose of the C30 to make it more distinctive from the Volvo S40 sedan and V50 wagon models, on which the C30 hatchback is based. It's also offering a new R-Design model, which adds sporty visual cues and a retuned suspension. Otherwise, the C30 is much the same, offering the same 227-hp turbocharged five-cylinder engine as last year, along with the same interior setup. However, considering the engine's sporty demeanor and the interior's style and function, we're happy to see them carried over.
