We round up the whole segment and give you the low-down on all the biggest brands' petite SUVs.
Toyota RAV4
Solidly one of the top 20 best selling vehicles of 2009, the RAV4 is
one of the most popular SUVs in this segment, and rightfully so.
Cavernous cargo space and a flat load floor make it an excellent
hauler, while the rare optional third-row seat provides extra space for
young'ns. When optioned with the V6, the RAV4 rockets (relative to the
segment) to 60 mph in under seven seconds but manages 27 mpg on the
highway.
