What’s New: The 2011 Touareg is completely redesigned from the ground-up, marking what VW calls “the most technically innovative Volkswagen since the brand has been in existence”. The 20% increase in fuel efficiency over the outgoing model can be attributed to a 450+ pound weight loss, and all-new engines including a direct-injected V6, Diesel, and the first Volkswagen hybrid drivetrain.
