First Drive Q&A: 2010 Lexus HS 250h

The world's first dedicated luxury hybrid (is not just an upgraded Prius)

Why make a special hybrid-only Lexus?

Obviously, it's a philosophy that has worked wonders for the Toyota Prius, so much so that Honda has created its own hybrid-only competitor in the form of the 2010 Honda Insight. Lexus is hoping that wealthy consumers wanting to make a statement will gravitate to the HS 250h.
