Super-nerd saves the day

Sure, the seats fold down in pretty much any little hatchback. But the Fit takes it a step further. Not only can you fold the seatbacks down, but you don’t have to remove the big head restraints; they just go down under the front seats. What? The front seat is too far back? No worries; Honda put a release lever on the top of the seatback so you can slide it forward, and then back again, resulting in a super flat load floor for your cargo. If you need to carry a longer object or somehow manage to fill up the cargo space in the hatch area, you can fold up the bottom cushion on the rear seats for extra cargo room. It’s extremely handy, as I discovered during an ambitious grocery run.
