Deserved or not there is that stereotype, and Toyota legitimized it somewhat with more upscale features in the new 2010 Prius, which boasts standard equipment and some options that were exclusive to Lexus not long ago. However, once you step inside the HS 250h it's clear that this really is a different car from the Toyota. It's definitely a Lexus inside, with much nicer materials and features that will definitely appeal to those who are willing to give up some fuel economy bragging rights for more luxurious surroundings.
