First Drive Q&A: 2010 Lexus HS 250h

The world's first dedicated luxury hybrid (is not just an upgraded Prius)

Is it any fun to drive?

The HS 250h suffers from some of the same complaints we've had about hybrids since the beginning. However, we must point out that the cars we drove were very early examples and there may be more development work before the final vehicle is ready for sale. Acceleration is acceptable -- Lexus says 0-60 will be between 8 and 9 seconds -- and the car has a comfortable and controlled ride. A Touring Package will offer up stiffer shocks and a few other tweaks to further improve handling.
