Overview
The 2008 Elise is a 2-door, 2-passenger convertible sports car, available in two trims, the Convertible and the Convertible SC. Upon introduction, the Convertible is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 189-horsepower engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The Convertible SC is equipped with a standard 1.8-liter, I4, 218-horsepower, supercharged engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2008 Convertible is a carryover from 2007. The Convertible SC is all-new for 2008.
